Everything You Need To Know
WHAT IS TENDRING CREATIVE PROJECT LAB?
A new scheme to help people living and working in Tendring to get their creative arts projects up and running in 2025.
It will provide an exciting package of support that enables you to grow your idea and deliver it in the best possible way.
WHAT WILL I GET?
• Workshops and talks with specialists on useful things such as Fundraising, Marketing, Partnership building and more.
• Coaching and Mentoring with cultural leaders who will help you take your project to the next level.
• Networking and site visits to meet some of Tendring’s cultural leaders and spaces.
• A safe and supportive cohort of fellow creative people who will help each other achieve their artistic ambitions.
• Further tailored support to help you get your project up and running in 2025!
WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN?
This programme will begin in October 2024 and end in April 2025.
The projects developed on the programme can happen any time in 2025.
WHAT DO WE MEAN BY CREATIVE ARTS PROJECT?
A project is a standalone activity with a beginning, middle and end.
The project can be brand new. Or just an exciting idea waiting to happen.
It can be already happening. But you want to take it to the next level.
It must be for a public audience and/or public participants.
It can be in any art form, or a mixture of art forms.
WHO IS RUNNING IT?
Tendring Creative Project Lab is run by independent producer & coach Steve Goatman.
The programme has support from Tendring District Council via their SPF fund.
WHAT CRITERIA WILL YOU USE TO SELECT APPLICANTS?
We are looking to help projects grow which are ambitious to have the biggest
or most unique impact for audiences and participants in Tendring.
We will aim to support a range of different types of projects.
We will prioritise applicants who face social or financial barriers to participating in such programmes.
HOW DO I APPLY?
Fill in this application form and submit it by 5pm on Monday 30th September 2024.
A panel of independent judges will meet to decide and places will be allocated soon after.
BURSARY SUPPORT
The project has a budget for tailored bursary support to enable people who couldn’t otherwise afford it to participate.
There is a question about this in the application form, or for more information contact Steve on the details below.
ACCESS SUPPORT FOR APPLICATION
If you have access barriers which make application too difficult, please contact Steve on the details below to discuss your needs. We want to make this project as accessible as possible.
